This is the heart of the system. Everything else is in one way or the other connected to the receiver, both sound and video devices. This is a really good piece of equipment according to me; great sound and lots of variables to mixture around with.

DVD/VCR - Philips DVP3100V


This all-in-one DVD and VCR player is perfect when you want to minimize the amount of units in your rack. Plays the most common audio and video files that is out there today, including DivX-films with a separate sublanguage file (.srt). As long as the file name is the same, the DVD starts both files when you press play.
